Call for Participants - Music&Me Workshops

It’s that time of year again.

You’re goal setting with your students, but the conversation feels like it hasn’t changed since last year, or worse; it’s just going round in circles. Ava’s parent wants to know why she still hasn’t taken Grade 5, Mohammed isn’t keen to make any decisions about what he wants to play, and you can’t quite work out why Sam is still coming to lessons at all…

You try a simple question…

“What is it you like about playing music?”

…and you’re faced with blank stares.

There has got to be an easier way.

The good news is - there is!

Join Professor Karen Burland and Dr Kate Blackstone on either 1 April, 12.30pm, or 2nd April 4.30pm to learn more about Music&Me, a new online resource to help you and your students open conversations about motivation: no blank stares guaranteed! You’ll leave this free training with new strategies for understanding your students and a bank of relevant music psychology resources to help you level up your teaching.
